What this service is
In plain terms.
Piling transfers structural load past weak surface soil to a stratum that can carry it. The method follows the ground: drilled shaft piles cast in situ, pre-cast driven piles installed with a pile driver, caisson piles for large diameters, and auger-cast piles where speed and low vibration matter. Earthwork — levelling, cutting, filling and compaction — is the preparation that decides whether everything above it stays where it was put.
Scope of work
What a standard engagement includes. Anything outside this is quoted separately and agreed in writing before it is executed.
How we execute it
From enquiry to handover.
Six defined stages. You always know which one you are in and what closes it.
Ground assessment
Soil data and site conditions are reviewed to select the pile type — the wrong method is expensive to discover at depth.
Setting out
Pile positions are marked and verified against the drawing, with a marking record signed off before boring.
Boring or driving
Auger, DTH or driving proceeds with depth, strata and any obstruction logged per pile.
Reinforcement & casting
Cage lowered, concrete poured with tremie where required, and cube samples taken.
Testing
Integrity and, where specified, load testing carried out on nominated piles.
Handover
Pile-wise bore log, concrete records, cut-off levels and as-built positions.

Questions buyers actually ask.
Answered directly, including where the honest answer is a qualification rather than a yes.
Ground conditions decide it. Soft strata suit bored and auger-cast piles; rock needs DTH drilling; sites sensitive to vibration rule out driven piles. We would rather change the method after the soil data than defend the wrong one at depth.
